Situated in the luxury residential complex of Diamond Hill, right in the centre of Kiev with an incomparable view over the city, this spacious apartment was designed by the YoDezeen architecture and interior design studio with offices in Ukraine, for a family in search of large, bright interiors, divided into prestigious areas for receiving guests and other more intimate, private areas.
The house covers a surface area of over 300 square metres, divided into two areas: the living area – a large open space organized into the kitchen, dining-room and living-room – and the night area – with the master bedroom, children’s rooms, wardrobes and bathrooms.
The interior design project is characterized by the elegant colour palette and the skilful use of different textures, ranging from the elegant dark parquet and fine white stucco work in the living area and night area, to the striking marble surfaces in the bathrooms. A sophisticated selection of contemporary works of art adds a further decorative touch to the atmosphere.
In the living room, illuminated by floor-to-ceiling windows, a careful arrangement of the versatile Lawrence system by Rodolfo Dordoni, with its generous volumes and soft central pouf, creates an oasis of great comfort and relaxation. Beside it, one of the Song coffee tables has a base entirely of solid brushed ash with a black lacquered finish.
Arranged around the dining-table are twelve Twombly chairs by Gordon Guillaumier, whose soft, sinuous lines, enhanced by the thermoformed leather, play with the design of the brass suspension lights.
